Innovick Residence is a bed & breakfast in Aruppola, Kandy, Sri Lanka. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website or stay with us, why we collect it, and the choices available to you. It applies to this website and to reservations arranged with us directly.

When you submit the booking form on this website, we collect the information needed to hold and confirm your reservation:
- Your full name.
- Your email address and telephone number.
- Your country.
- Your check-in and check-out dates.
- The rooms selected, the number of adults and children in each, and the ages of any children travelling with you.
- The rate plan selected and the quoted price for your stay.
If you contact us by email, telephone or WhatsApp, we also hold the content of that correspondence and the contact details you used. At check-in, valid photo identification or a passport is required as set out in our Terms & Conditions.
3. Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, this site and the third-party services embedded in it receive certain technical information automatically when you visit, such as your device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, the pages you view and how you arrived at the site. This is used in aggregate to understand how the site is used.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To process, confirm and manage your room reservation.
- To send booking confirmation by email and SMS, and arrival details.
- To respond to enquiries and provide customer support.
- To keep the records required for hospitality registration and tax purposes in Sri Lanka.
- To understand, in aggregate, how this website is used so that we can improve it.
We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to third-party marketers.

This website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the site to function, including the session and security cookies set by the web application itself. Others are set by the analytics and embedded services described in section 6 and are used to measure site usage.

Your information is accessed by authorised Innovick Residence management for the purpose of managing your reservation. Beyond that, information is shared only:
- With the service providers named in section 6, to the extent their service requires it.
- With our email and SMS providers, in order to deliver booking confirmations to you.
- Where we are required to do so by applicable law or by a competent authority.
9. Data Security
This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and booking records are held in a password-protected administration system accessible only to authorised management. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we take reasonable steps to protect your information we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Please note that this website does not collect card or payment details. As set out in our Refund Policy, payment is collected on arrival at check-in.
10. Data Retention
We keep booking and correspondence records for as long as needed to manage your stay, to answer any question that arises afterwards, and to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to accommodation providers in Sri Lanka. When a record is no longer needed for those purposes it is removed from active use.
11. Your Rights and Choices
You may ask us to confirm what information we hold about you, to correct it if it is inaccurate, or to delete your contact records where we are not required to keep them. This website links to external sites, including map, messaging and social media services. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing information to them.
13. Children’s Privacy
This website is intended for use by adults making travel arrangements. Where a booking includes children, we collect only the number of children and their ages, supplied by the adult making the reservation, so that rooms and bedding can be prepared correctly. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The revision date at the top of this page indicates when it was last changed, and we encourage you to review it when you book.
